Thailand - DHL has announced the expansion of its DHL Exel Supply Chain (DESC) unit in Thailand.
The expansion will involve the development of the DESC unit in the technology, human resources, real estate and domestic transport capacity, said Steve Daniel, senior vice-president for South Asia and Indochina of DESC.
Paul Harry Graham, chief executive of DESC Asia Pacific, said the investment showed the company's faith in the Asian economy despite the global slowdown.
DHL Exel Supply Chain Thailand was established in 1995. It currently employs approximately 4,000 employees working across 50 locations, on multiple warehouses and office facilities.
