Friday: Regional Procurement Engineer

Role Description:

As the single point of contact for the new set-up between Systems and Communications Asia and Munich, you shall provide an ongoing overview update of Asia procurement opportunities. In these opportunities, you will develop and provide sourcing strategies that optimize the target fill rate, inventory level and pricing under varied business conditions with Rohde & Schwarz. You will manage the business risk, governance and collaborative relationship with suppliers. In addition, you shall facilitate cross business units procurement process activities.

Requirements:

Besides good knowledge of procurement systems and processes and hands-on SAP experience, you should be familiar with regional vendors supply base and commercial law and contracts. In addition, you should have strong negotiation and conflict management skills, with effective verbal and written English communication skills in a multi-cultural environment. We like to hear from you, should you possess a degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering, with at least 4 years relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, process engineering or vendor quality management.
