Kerry Logistics sets up two more

Kerry Logistics continues to expand its services across Asia, opening up two offices in Myanmar and in Sri Lanka. Part of the company's strategy to build and establish presence and network in emerging markets, both offices will complement its existing freight network in Vietnam, Thailand, India and Bangladesh.

Luxury brands pick Dimension Data

Key players in the global luxury goods markets have partnered up with Dimension Data for multi-language desk support across 16 countries in Asia Pacific. The IT solutions company will provide a service desk as a single point of contact for key markets in the region, while its Hong Kong office will act as a 24/7 service desk hub to dispatch service calls for the brands' regional operations.

Keppel snags multiple deals

Keppel Corp has secured three contracts in a week. Its Keppel FELS unit has inked two contracts, worth US$950 million, from Petrobras-led firms Guara BV and Tupi BV in Brasil today for its Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessels. Earlier this week, the Offshore & Marine division had also firmed up contracts with Sete Brasil Participações SA worth US$4.1 billion to build five semisubmersible drilling rigs.

Sembcorp grabs multi-million contracts

Sembcorp Marine's units has won multi-million international contracts for its expertise. Jurong Offshore, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine, has received contract worth approximately US$4.03 billion from Sete Brasil Participações SA for the design and construction of five drillships. Furthermore, its Brazil shipyard Estaleiro Jurong Arazruz has also secured a US$792.5 million contract for a drillship with Netherlands-based Guarapari Drilling BV. The drillships will be scheduled for delivery between 2015 and 2019.
