APPOINTMENTS LOGISTICS
Asia - UPS has appointed Craig Foster to the role of senior vice president of supply chain and healthcare logistics for Asia Pacific, following recent plans for its first Asian dedicated healthcare facility in Singapore.
Foster will be responsible for UPS' supply chain solutions, distributions, and overall healthcare initiatives in the region.
"Driven by expanding relationships with healthcare companies and a growing trend towards outsourcing, UPS is seeing an increased demand from healthcare manufacturers wanting more agile supply chain solutions worldwide," Derek Woodward, president of the UPS Asia Pacific region said.
Foster was most recently head of UPS South District for Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for the company's packaging and supply chain operations in 29 countries. He has six years of experience in the management of the logistics business in the region, and 33 years in logistics.
KK Leung, managing director of UPS Hong Kong and Macau, has been named president of UPS South District, while William Ng, managing director of UPS Taiwan, will be assuming Leung's role. Anita Li, senior hub manager at UPS Hong Kong is now appointed managing director of UPS Taiwan.
