BMW CEVA LOGISTICS
Australia - BMW recognised CEVA Logistics for operational excellence at three of its locations around the world during its yearly BMW Parts Logistics Conference.
The Awards form part of BMW's yearly evaluation of its global spare parts distribution centres, where over 40 sites are measured against five key criteria and allocated a score based on performance. The areas of measurement are: error rate; productivity, cost as a percentage of turnover; stock accuracy and the implementation of a strategive initiative.
CEVA swept up three awards for its three sites in Sydney Australia, Slubice Poland and Sao Paolo Brazil, with the Poland site winning overall title of Best Performing Warehouse in the world.
Chris Senior, CEVA's global automotive key account director said: "The good working relationship, level of cooperation and shared strategic vision that we have with BMW has played a large part in us achieving such impressive results."
