Regional Planning Manager

SENIOR APPOINTMENTS       SUPPLY CHAIN

Singapore - The successful candidate will manage demand and supply planners, perform periodic goal setting and performance management processes and manage supply chain planning operations.

Role Description:

• Manage demand and supply planners, as well as develop the knowledge and capability of the demand planners
• Perform periodic goal setting and performance management processes such as employee reviews and performance appraisals, etc
• Manage supply chain planning operations and S&OP processes
• Facilitate / chair consensus forecast / S&OP meetings
• Facilitate a collaborative nature of S&OP and drive inter functional knowledge sharing and information dissemination
• Align with the global supply and demand planning team to ensure regional demand is met on time and supply issues are addressed on time
• Support operational / supply chain related projects as required
• Backfill / support the demand planners from an operational point of view when required

This esteemed consumer goods organisation is recruiting a Regional Planning Manager based in Singapore.

Requirements:

• Minimum five years' experience in supply chain planning and S&OP, within a multinational corporation
• Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred
• In-depth knowledge in planning tools such as Manugistics and APO / Mercia
• Detailed understanding of how forecasts and demand plans are generated and managed
• Understanding of how key events affect product demand, product history and trends
• Strong knowledge of sales cycles and characteristics
• Possesses strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, together with metrics development and report creation / formatting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and report writing with good verbal and written communications skills
