Singapore - Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be leading a team and responsible for the budget of the freight forwarding business, air/sea/land operations management, carrier partnership, freight network planning, account management and business development.

Role Description

A well-known MNC in the third party logistics industry is seeking a Senior Manager, Freight Services, to manage its freight forwarding business which provides air, sea and land services in Singapore and globally.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be leading a team and responsible for the budget of the freight forwarding business, Air/Sea/Land operations management, carrier partnership, freight network planning, account management and business development. Strong communication skills to engage with partners, clients and senior management to formulate business strategies, as well as people management and development skill will be key elements to success.

Requirements:

Ideally, you must have a good degree and possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience with expertise in either air, sea or land freight services in the third party logistics industry.

It will be advantageous if you have strong project management and change management experience.

Ability to deal with ambiguity, good social and demonstrated communication skills are important. Highly adaptable and self-motivated, you should be analytical, with high level of integrity.
