Singapore - The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for its regional strategic sourcing activities, which includes both corporate sourcing (indirect sourcing) and direct materials (including capex equipment).

Role description:

Our client, a market leader in the oil & gas industry, we is seeking a Sourcing Manager to be responsible for its regional strategic sourcing activities, which includes both corporate sourcing (indirect sourcing) and direct materials (including capex equipment).

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be part of the management team, collaborating with other global sourcing team members and interfacing with senior management within the suppliers' organisation. You will have an intimate knowledge of regional/global supply marketplace and will develop standard sourcing and contracting processes.

This position plays a critical supplier relationship management role to ensure alignment with business strategies.

Requirements:

Ideally, you should have more than 5 to 8 years of relevant functional experience and a good Bachelor's degree.

You have a strong business acumen, and the ability to deal with ambiguity and build strategic alliances with partners.

It will be advantageous if you have strong project management and change management experience. Good social and demonstrated communication skills are important. Highly adaptable and self-motivated, you should be analytical with high level of integrity.
