Singapore - This newly created position acts as a conduit between the procurement function and its internal and external stakeholders, designed to deliver strong procurement account management support to these customers.

Role description:

This newly created position acts as a conduit between the procurement function and its internal and external stakeholders, designed to deliver strong procurement account management support to these customers. It will involve building strong credible relationships across differing organisational layers inside and outside the organisation at global, regional and local levels.

As such the role requires exceptional experience in stakeholder management particularly around the area of influencing and negotiating against a backdrop of organisational change management.

The position will also require someone who is adept at balancing and maintaining a holistic viewpoint of customer demand along with being able to deal with day to day reactive issues.

Our client has commenced on a Procurement transformation programme designed to deliver a world class procurement service and interface across the breadth of a complex internal and external customer network.

Requirements:

To be successful you should:

• Be a procurement professional with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Be an exceptional communicator with a minimum of 2 years engagement in an account management type discipline
• Possess project expertise and be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering service  improvements across an organisation
• Demonstrate confidence in influencing across an organisational matrix to C-Level
• Display strong commercial skills
• Be able to demonstrate strategic thinking particularly across the procurement service delivery subject area

This role is based in Singapore and a strong preference will be for those who have recent experience of working and living in Asia and ⁄or already have the right to work in this country.

Salary range: Negotiable
