FedEx appoints new M’sia head

FEDEX   SENIOR APPOINTMENT   HUMAN RESOURCES 

Malaysia - Ramesh Kumar Singam has moved from his position as MD of FedEx Express Singapore and Indonesia to head up the Malaysia team there.

In his new role, Ramesh will oversee all aspects of FedEx operations in Malaysia and manage over 660 employees. He will also be responsible for developing and executing corporate strategies to ensure the company's growth.

He was most recently MD of FedEx Express Singapore and Indonesia, during which FedEx Singapore was named Best Employer. Prior to that, he was MD of FedEx Malaysia and Brunei. Ramesh has undertaken several positions during his time in FedEx, including training specialist and senior manager of operations.

"It has been a tremendous experience working in Singapore. However, I am looking forward to returning to Malaysia, and working closely with my Malaysian team as we continue to deliver on our Purple Promise of making every customer experience outstanding," Ramesh said.
