CEVA wins Thai automotive contract

Thailand - CEVA has inked a deal with commercial vehicles manufacturer Isuzu to provide supply warehousing and shipping services in Thailand.

The deal will see over 500 CEVA employees managing inbound and outbound logistics assistance to Isuzu, including receiving, wrapping and packing of its auto-parts.

The company will also manage the packaging and shipping for over 65,000 Isuzu vehicles a year to the South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines and Japan markets.

Winfried Kiesbueye, country general manager of CEVA Logistics Thailand believes the deal reaffirms the success company's focus on operational excellence through the introduction of LEAN and SMART solutions. The company said it uses a systematic approach that provides the industry's best-practice benchmarks, and ensures its customers' operations are efficiently and consistently operated across the globe.
